I have been busy creating some brightly coloured gnomes during the grey weather outside. It is still Summer after all. Soon I will be putting up Christmas gnomes and Christmas gnome custom listings. Last year it got really busy around October. With the Corona Virus affecting the postal delivery times and costs, make sure you order your gnomes early.
I introduced the "Spoonie" Gnome collection. They sold out immediately. I will keep adding some, but if you missed your chance don't worry, I have a Custom Spoonie Gnome listing up so you can design your own.
Here is the latest addition to the Gnomes For Your Homes Adoption Page:
This hand felted gnome is Woodrow Woodpecker representing the Great Spotted Woodpecker that had been on my garden feeder. His hat is a blend of white alpaca, beige soya silk fibre, deep red merino, black bamboo, beige linen fibre; rust silk noils, gold Angelina fibre for sparkle.
This hand felted gnome is Cecil the Sweet Pea. He is inspired by the vibrant and sweet-smelling sweet pea. Cecil’s hat is a blend of white alpaca; fuchsia nettle fibre; white soya fibre; green, soft pink and light purple merino wool; light pink silk noils; maroon Corriedale wool; white firestar and gold Angelina Fibre for sparkle. The brim of this gnome’s hat is wet felted in a “messy” manner.
This hand felted gnome is Floyd of the Fuchsias. He is inspired by the beautiful bright purple and pink fuchsias in my garden. His hat is a blend of fuchsia, light purple and dark purple merino wool; green recycled banana fibre; light pink silk noils; hand dyed purple and pink Wensleydale locks; light pink soya fibre, green silk; purple Angelina fibres for sparkle. His hat has as little wire inside to allow for some posing and he sits on a wood disk to allow free standing.
This hand felted ornament is Harold of the Hummingbirds Spoonie Gnome. Harold is one in a series of gnome ornaments inspired by the hummingbirds. Everyone can use a little extra help and these felted gnome "Spoonie" ornaments are there to lend you a spoon when you need it. Harold's hat is a blend of light blue, soft green and white Tencel (nettle fibre); white firestar; bright pink silk noil; leaf green, teal, maroon, and soft blue merino.
